Preschoolers Go Trick-or-Treating

Children from the Four County Career Center Preschool went trick-or-treating throughout the school gathering candy and goodies for Halloween.  The Early Childhood Education students assisted the Preschoolers as they visited the offices and classrooms and brightened everyone’s day with their creative costumes.  Shown above, the trick-or-treaters include (LEFT TO RIGHT) Jillian Beair (Helena); Aurelia Glore (Bryan); Eden Fisher (Napoleon); Kohen Kossow (Ridgeville Corners); Kohen Majewski (Liberty Center); Grayden Blue (Holgate); Linley Scarberry (Liberty Center); Boone Schroeder (Defiance); Artie Vocke (Napoleon); Tripp Badenhop (Napoleon); and August Dishop (Napoleon).

The Preschool is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., except on days the Career Center is closed.  The program is operated in association with the Early Childhood Education program for juniors and seniors as a part of their lab experience.

2024-2025 FCCLA Executive Officers

Executive Officers of the over 100 member Four County Career Center Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Chapter include (FRONT - LEFT TO RIGHT) Savanna Lauharn (Evergreen) Early Childhood Education; Kaylyn Bergstedt (Napoleon) Interior Design; Dayana Sosa (Wauseon) Interior Design; Sadie Swisher (Wauseon) Guest Services & Skills; (BACK - LEFT TO RIGHT) Mya Sproles (Archbold) Chef Training; Ava Johnson (Archbold) Early Childhood Education; and Bobbie Kreischer (Montpelier) Culinary Arts Management.  Among the chapter projects this year are fundraising and assisting with local community projects, sponsored student assemblies, and participation in regional, state, and national FCCLA leadership and skill competitions.  Membership in the organization is limited to family and consumer science students.  FCCLA Advisors include Kelli Alspaugh, Family & Consumer Science Instructor; Lisa Hall, Interior Design instructor, Peter Herold, Chef Training & Culinary Arts Management instructor; and Joyce Golz, Guest Services & Skills instructor.

Students Attend National FFA Convention & Expo

Students Attend National FFA Convention & Expo

Six students from the Four County Career Center’s FFA Chapter recently participated in the 97th National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis, themed “Engage.” During the convention, these FFA members took part in a range of leadership and team-building workshops and explored the college and career expo. The expo offered valuable insights into various agricultural career paths and opportunities for further education and training.  Those attending from the Career Center include (LEFT TO RIGHT) Zander Runkel (Hilltop) Powersports; Ben Boger (Pettisville) Powersports; Ethan Walters (Stryker) Diesel Mechanics; Collin Mowel (Napoleon) Diesel Mechanics; Allison Cuffle (Fairview) Veterinary Assisting; and Brianna Collins (Bryan) Veterinary Assisting.

Jason Elston, Agricultural/Diesel Mechanics instructor, and Larry Soles, Powersports instructor, accompanied the students.
